Saat ku pandang langit malam ini
Ribuan bintang bersinar bagaikan intan
Bulan tersenyum menyambut malam
Hingga langitpun tampak cemerlang
Ingin ku gapai bintang
Dan memetik semuanya
Kan kusimpan di dalam hatiku
Agar aku ceria selalu
Oh perhiasan malam
Ku ingin agar kau bersinar abadi

Ps: Ok, this poem is so cringeworthy. This was a second poem I ever created at Elementary School (seems like I keep going backwards, lol). It was a task given by the teacher and fortunately I did it at night and that's how it became like this. The reason why I still remember every single words of this poem is because it got picked by the teacher and was hanged on the wall. And that was the very first time for me. Btw, I keep posting old poems like this because I haven't made any poems for a long long time. I had this poem book before which filled with poems I created during my high school years, but I lose it somewhere. The latest poems I created before were all short poems consisted of 4-6 lines, so I wonder about posting them here. And the post scriptum turned out longer than the poem itself, lol.
