3rd Note-What are you? (Personality Test)

16 Personality Types

I’ve just taken an online personality test, and still waiting for the result.

And the result is …..

INFP-T (bdum tst)

Actually I have taken a test before and I also got INFP, but totally forgotten whether it’s an A or a T. Wait, it’s definitely a T. Can’t be wrong about this. I prone to stress to the point of believing it was part of my traits. And I hate to admit this, but the test was scarily accurate for me.

So what is this all personality test about?

This Personality test was carried by 16personalities.com which focused on 5 personality aspects based on Myers–Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), developed from the work of the psychiatrist Carl G. Jung in his book Psychological Types, which were Mind, Energy, Nature, Tactics and Identity

  • Mind   : Introvert (loner) vs Extrovert (reveller)
  • Energy : Observant (practical) vs Intuitive (imaginative)
  • Nature : Thinking (logic) vs Feeling (emotion)
  • Tactics : Judging (structured) vs Prospecting (improvised)
  • Identity : Assertive (self-assured) vs Turbulent (self-conscious)
And here are the 16 types of personality you could have based on the personality test.

If you want to take the test you could go to www.16personalities.com and take the test for free. They also provided the test with 30 languages including Bahasa Indonesia. And if you were questioning the validity and credibility of the test you also could check their site and go to the framework section. There you'll find a lot of information about the test.

I will not pursue you to believe in the result of the test, but there's no harm in taking part in it, especially if you just want to know more about yourself.

And here again, I got INFP-T. A mediator huh. I don't think I was "Poetic, kind, altruistic people, always eager to help a good cause" though. Just how the hell could these people come up with this sort-misleading introduction after such a long explanation about this personality type being a peace seeker, conflict hater, chronic procrastinator, messy planner, insane dreamer, self-conscious and sensitive creature, anxiety sufferers, and so on?

With all due respect to the other mediators, I'm sorry if my statements above offend you. May be these only apply to me. Again I'm sorry.
